Cheryl is a First Aid and CPR Instructor (see First Aid Training Solutions), and an avid collector of anything printed, and her Amateur Radio Call sign is VA3OYB.

Cheryl also volunteered as a Logistics Coordinator for the American Red Cross in New York City in October 2001 after the 9-11 Terrorist Attacks that destroyed the World Trade Center and part of the Pentagon in Washington DC.

Alan is a Professional Electrical Engineer working as a Senior Electronics Designer for Siemens-Milltronics in Peterborough. He is also a Scout Leader, and a Serving Brother (SBStJ) in the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem. His Amateur Radio Call sign is VE3UBW.
